I love my ban.do calendar!!!! First things first…What is ban.do? Well according to their website https://www.bando.com/pages/about-us they are a lifestyle brand specializing in gifts and accessories designed by a group of young women right here in Los Angeles. They introduce not just color but a quirky kind of fun into their products. I purchased my ban.do planner at Papersource http://www.papersource.com/new/bando.html and fell in love. I immediately went to the bando.com website and was smitten with their entire collection. Instead of me telling you, let me show you. First things first the planners…. OMG! Just look at the video and you will be as excited as I was about planning my day!
So now lets get down to business. I use this calendar daily. I note all of my general goals for the day first thing in the morning. At night I usually would have documented all of my major life goal tasks on my PlannerPad application. I then break those down into goals that I want to accomplish daily. I note those goals on the my ban.do calendar. I love electronic calendars but there is something about writing to do items on paper and then being able to manually check it off or cross it out. That is a must!
The ban.do calendar offers enough free writing space to get your tasks and goals down. It also is colorful and has some cute little quirky comments below.
The planner offers quotes (e.g, some inspirational and some just hilarious) at the beginning of every month to provide a little inspiration going forward into your next month. "Don't look Back!"- As the new year approaches let go and allow this space to inspire you to keep moving forward. That is the beauty of a planner it is a free space that you can write on with no limitations or blocks. Each day there is a blank space for you to fill up, start all over again, or keep moving forward. I love planners so much!
Stickers!!!! Yes :) Got to love them and got to have them. If your planner does not have stickers than you are totally missing out. I know for sure this definitely connects me to my inner childhood. There was nothing like getting a sticker as a reward from my teacher or mom. What better accomplishment... then to be able to reward yourself for accomplishing goals and tasks. These stickers can be used as a reward (e.g., a scoop of ice cream for making it to the gym 4x's a week) or it can be used as a reminder for a task (e.g, grab pizza for the kids on the way home).
I absolutely love the "write down some reasons to party" page. On this page you can just jot down birthdays or important events that you may need to remind yourself before planning upcoming meetings, getaways, parties, etc.
Please check out bando.com! They also have a collection of agenda, bags, desk accessories, stationary, drinkware, gifts, hair accessories, jewelry and tech items. Oh and did I mention fanny packs!! They have really cute things and checking out their site is a must!
